ENVIRONMENT

As an Eastern Shore Native, I understand the importance of preserving the Chesapeake Bay, and creating policies that are cost-effective and efficient in reducing the damage we leave behind.

Often green energy policies that pass in Annapolis are at the expense of people who live in poverty, or our farmers. I think the best way to get to a solution, or many solutions, is by having every player join the table. We can’t pass one-sided policies that are meant to reduce our damage while increasing our energy bills to the point hard working families can’t afford electricity.

We need to bring common sense back to Annapolis and work to find solutions towards green energy without those policies hurting our most vulnerable populations.
